Welcome to elytra

I'm a pharmaceutical industry professional,  physician, researcher and life-science consultant. Prior to launching my consultancy in 2013, I held positions at leading pharmaceutical firm F. Hoffmann-La Roche at global, regional and local levels in commercial and medical affairs focusing on oncology. Beyond pharma, I've worked in basic oncology research, as a clinician and in post-graduate education. As a recent Programme Director at the University of Basel, lecturer, published author, conference speaker and recent Diploma of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine I am passionate about continuing education.

I work with pharmaceutical companies,  consulting agencies and service providers on Medical Affairs projects ranging from large cross-functional global reorganisation programmes to one-day workshops. Since founding elytra in 2013  I've worked with a range of clients on projects including market research for biosimilars,  large global digital transformation programmes in big pharma, and designing EU and local Medical Information and Medical Affairs Models.  My passion?

As a physician:  Patients and the provision of scientific product information to healthcare professionals.

My goal? To ensure that the right patient receives the right medicine, every time.

As an entrepreneur:  Process optimisation, streamlining and efficiency.

My goal?  To help teams work efficiently, cross-functionally and healthily within their resource reality.

As a researcher: Data and insights generation. Beyond silos. Beyond teams. Beyond functions. Beyond geographies.

My goal? To support informed strategic decision making.

Clients appreciate my entrepreneurial mind-set,  analytical and project management skills coupled with the ability to design and implement tailored solutions. I take pride in proposing pragmatic solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective long-term.

My goal is to help clients in the pharmaceutical industry implement their projects faster and more efficiently resulting in process improvements and better product knowledge management to benefit patients and physicians and improve healthcare provision overall.
